Steampunk Nerf Maverick Skull X

Steampunk Nerf Maverick Skull X

I know there a literally hundreds if not thousands of Steampunked Nerf Mavericks out there and so many of them are amazing but I still had to throw my hat in the ring and make one of my own. So here is my Nerf Maverick Skull X. I used LED lights that turn on when the trigger is pulled and the gun still fires. One of my future projects will be a holster for this gun. Thanks for looking and commenting I really appreciate it.

Steampunked Sony Headphones

Steampunked Sony Headphones

My latest creation is a pair of Steampunk headphones. I wanted them to sound good so I started with Sony MDR-XB300 Extra Bass Stereo Headphones , you can see a picture of the original headphones below, also I liked the leather cushioned ear pads. I cut off the headband leaving only the ear pieces and created the rest from findings, various wire, and leather. They look big on the skull but they fit well and are very comfortable. I’m working on a matching Steampunk wrist cuff to hold my Ipod Nano and will be posting that soon. Thanks for looking and commenting.

Steampunk Dragonfly Tinker

Steampunk Dragonfly Tinker

This started as part of another project before developing into it’s own piece. I recently purchased neon fiber optic fiber and got the idea to use it for the wings of a dragonfly. I decided to try my hand a wire sculpting and came up with my version of a Steampunk dragonfly. Once I had the dragonfly I wasn’t quite sure what to do with it, because it was larger than I had anticipated, so my girlfriend suggested a jewelry box and after some trial and error here’s my Steampunk Dragonfly jewelry box, I call it Dragonfly Tinker because to me it looks like he’s working on the clock works. Thanks for looking and commenting I really appreciate it.

Steampunk Leather Top Hat Finished

Steampunk Leather Top Hat Finished

Here is the finale of my last two posts. My completed Steampunk Leather Top Hat. I used parts from a leather belt that I took apart and stitched together and added found objects and charms. I wire wrapped a skeleton key for the center piece. Thanks for looking and come back for my next project. I’m working on leather Steampunk aviator goggles.

Nerf N-Strike Jolt EX-1 Blaster Steampunk Telescopic Pistol Mod

Nerf N-Strike Jolt EX-1 Blaster Steampunk Telescopic Pistol Mod

This post follows from my last post. It’s the companion pistol to the Steampunk shotgun I previously created. For this mod I started with a Nerf N-Strike Jolt EX-1 Blaster and a Toysmith Pirate Telescope and at completion both are still functional. I also used gears, tubing, miscellaneous toy parts, a cameo pin and other found objects. I hope you enjoy this entry and please come back for my next post which will be a Steampunk lamp.

Steampunk Top Hat with Skull Goggles

Steampunk Top Hat with Skull Goggles

Hello to new and returning viewers, today I’m posting photos of my Steampunk top hat with customized skull goggles. I created a utility belt from the strap of an old bag added a few decoration. I paired this with a pair of goggles that I decorated with gears, wire, a skull and magnifying lenses to create the final look.

I’m looking forward to wearing my hat and a few other of the accessories that I’ve created to this year’s Steampunk World’s Fair in May. Hope to see you there and please check back for my next creation.

Steampunk Electro Pen

Steampunk Electro Pen

Welcome to new viewers of my blog and welcome back those that have been here before I appreciate all views, comments and likes. Today I’m showing my concept of a steampunk pen. I started with an ordinary Bic pen and transformed it using wire, some leather and found objects. I was inspired by Tesla’s electrical devices. I hope you like my little experiment and I hope you’ll follow me and come back for my next creation.
